First Partnership through Aimhigher funding develops and runs three programmes as follows.
Step into Days:
Step into days are developed for groups of students to experience a potential career.
Examples of recent Step into days include, step into the Fire Service, step into Animation and step into Graphic Design. These events generally last one day.
Working Lunches:
Working lunches are based within a workplace and allow students to talk with employees and find out more about a certain profession. Working lunches are developed for groups of students intrested in a particular industry.
Mentoring:
Aimhigher fund mentoring opportunities for students who may require additional support throughout their studies. Mentoring schemes are developed to fit the students, school and business need.
Programmes are open to all KS4 students. To find out more simply contact Tracy Marlow, Operations Manager on 01252 852471 or email tracy.marlow@firstpartnership.com
