The Enterprise Game - Free Training!!!

You may have seen reports on ITV News and BBC South Today regarding ‘The Enterprise Game’. The Enterprise Game introduces the concept of business enterprise in a new, enjoyable and surprisingly realist way.

It captures the excitement of running an Enterprise and in doing so demonstrates the problems, disappointments, opportunities and good fortune that enterprising people meet in real life.  The Game requires the players to make decisions on investment, management, production, selling and delivery.  They then have to cope with the results of their decisions.

First Partnership have over 100 copies of the board game available for use.  We can also deliver this activity in your school using trained mentors.  We are offering a free training opportunity for schools to send one member of staff to attend a session and learn how to play the game.  The game itself could be played in a double lesson or as part of an enterprise day.

Through use of The Enterprise Game, students will:

  • Experience the processes involved in business
  • Develop employability skills such as problem solving, risk management and decision making
  • Be engaged and motivated in a fun learning activity
  • Learn about enterprise by playing it!
