
Groups of between eight and ten pupils are challenged to develop, cost, manufacture, advertise and sell a toy of their own design.
Each group is given a box of "bits and pieces". The group split into three departments - accountants, production and marketing. Each department has set roles and responsibilities. At the end of the day business professionals visit each group and decide which toy they would buy and why.

This activity relates directly to both QCA and Ofsted requirements and relates to all elements of the Work Related Learning framework.
Business Support:
This enterprise activity is supported by a number of local businesses including banks and building societies, toy manufacturers, marketing companies and education providers. These businesses bring real world examples to life.
Duration:
This activity is designed for a maximum of 200 pupils per day. However, the programme can be adapted for larger or smaller groups.
