Business Ambassadors are volunteers recruited from local companies who represent their professions and organisations.

Business Ambassadors aim to:

  • Raise awareness of career opportunities available to young people
  • To help students realise the relevance of their education
  • To encourage, motivate and raise young peoples aspirations
  • To prepare students for the world of work

Young people and teachers benefit from:

  • Gaining an understanding and insight into the world of work
  • Subjects at school are made further meaningful and related to the world of work

If you decide to become an approved Business Volunteer the benefits are endless. At the end of your first year FP will present you with a certificate detailing all of the activities you have supported and the skills you have used.
